Materials and contact
SAKI identifies the reservoir walls, bottom plate, spout, and lid underside as 304 stainless steel. Its support information also identifies a heat-resistant silicone lid seal and food-grade plastic components in the lid mechanism. The exact exposure of those lid components to steam and returning condensate is not fully mapped.
Care
Hand-wash the lid with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Wipe the unplugged exterior with a well-wrung cloth, and never submerge or rinse the power base. Descale the water chamber as needed with the manufacturer's vinegar, lemon, or citric-acid method.
Good to know
This kettle is intended for heating water. The exterior coating and lid assembly include materials beyond the stainless steel used in the water chamber.

Plastic contact
Plastic is present; its contact path is not fully verified
Silicone contact
Some silicone contacts food, drink, or the mouth

“Not fully verified” means a relevant component, treatment, or variant still needs exact-product evidence. It is not a positive plastic-free or silicone-free claim.
